Wellness Program Fund

The Wellness Program Fund provides financial support for participants who are unable to afford the Weight Management Program. Donations help remove barriers to participation, empower individuals to achieve healthier lifestyles, improve daily well-being, and reach their full potential. Your gift directly impacts lives by supporting long-term health and wellness in our community.

The Light the Park Fund provides festive, high-quality lighting for Eulalona Park during Christmas. Funds are used to purchase new light displays and maintain existing installations. This project relies on generous donations and volunteer labor, with ongoing expenses to replace fixtures and to expand displays in the park.

Healthy Klamath was launched in 2012 by Sky Lakes Medical Center staff committed to improving the health and well-being of our region. Since then, the initiative has grown into a collaborative, community-wide effort focused on creating lasting change through improvements to our environment, local policies, and social connections. 

The Healthy Klamath Fund supports many community projects and the vision of creating a community where every person an thrive—living a healthy, active, and fulfilling life. Healthy Klamath leads work that strengthens our community’s sense of place, including built-environment enhancements, expanded opportunities for physical activity, and meaningful community engagement. The team also coordinates the broader Healthy Klamath Network and provides nutrition education in partnership with the OHSU Moore Institute.

Future Generations

The Child Abuse Response and Evaluation Services (CARES) Fund supports compassionate, expert care for children and families affected by abuse or neglect across our four-county region. Through medical evaluations, treatment recommendations, and collaboration with human services and law enforcement, CARES ensures children are protected and supported on their path to healing.

CARES Annual Fund

The Family Birth Center Fund supports families through every stage of their journey. Contributions to this fund help purchase car seats for new parents, provide comfort and bereavement materials for families experiencing the loss of a baby, and assist with acquiring essential equipment for the Family Birth Center, enhancing care and compassion for every family we serve.

Maternal Child Health Fund

Thanks to the generosity of Klamath-area families and organizations, the Sky Lakes Medical Center Foundation is proud to offer scholarships to help local students pursue their college dreams. These scholarships represent our community's commitment to investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals and leaders. 

We've made applying simple, just one online application connects students to all six scholarship opportunities. Based on individual qualifications and experiences, applications are matched with scholarships that align with each student's profile. Health Care Innovation

The Cardiac Fund supports patients on their health journey by purchasing essential medical equipment for home monitoring. It also funds a Phase II program that promotes physical activity and peer connection, helping patients stay engaged and motivated in their recovery.

The Surgery Fund advances the capabilities of our surgical services by supporting innovative technologies and essential needs within the department. Your philanthropy helps fund equipment, training, and initiatives that improve patient outcomes and expand surgical care.

Care Within Reach

The Sky Lakes Employee Help Fund provides confidential, short-term financial assistance to team members experiencing unexpected hardship. Supported entirely by generous contributions from fellow employees, this fund helps ensure our colleagues have a safety net when they need it most.

Eligible expenses may include rent or utilities, vehicle repairs, dental needs, childcare, funeral costs, and other urgent necessities. Employees may receive up to $750 in support and must be in good standing with their departments leadership.

The Highest Need Fund provides flexible support where it is most urgently required at Sky Lakes Medical Center. Contributions to this fund enable the hospital to respond quickly to emerging priorities—whether that means purchasing critical medical equipment, funding patient care programs, or addressing unexpected community health needs. Gifts to the Highest Need Fund ensure that every dollar has the greatest impact, helping the hospital deliver exceptional care to our patients when they need it most.

Guided by input and support from the Cancer Advisory Committee, the Cancer Fund provides vital financial assistance to patients and supports the operations of the Cancer Treatment Center. This includes funding for patient care needs, essential supplies and equipment, and materials for cancer support groups. 

The fund is sustained by realized gains from the Cancer Endowment Fund and is also used to advance medical services, ensuring the Cancer Treatment Center continues to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community.

The Patient Assistance Fund provides direct support to patients facing financial hardship during their care journey. Funds are used to help with essential needs such as clothing, transportation, food, housing, and other critical expenses identified by Sky Lakes staff—ensuring that no patient goes without necessities while receiving treatment.
