Merritt Driscoll

Merritt Driscoll joined the Sky Lakes Foundation as Director in June 2024 and has led the Healthy Klamath Department at Sky Lakes since 2018, a dual role that unites philanthropy and community health to advance well-being across the Klamath Basin. In her work, she guides strategic growth, builds meaningful partnerships, and aligns fundraising priorities with the hospital’s mission and the community’s prioritized health needs. 

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Merritt holds a Master of Public Health and a Master’s International degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College. Before moving to Klamath Falls in 2012, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mtwara, Tanzania, where she taught community health and secured grant funding to improve educational infrastructure and expand learning opportunities. 

Throughout her career, Merritt has served in leadership roles dedicated to advancing community well-being, including positions with Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services, Sky Lakes Medical Center, and as Executive Director of Blue Zones Project–Klamath Falls. Passionate about creating a healthier future for her community, Merritt finds joy in connecting people and purpose. Outside of work, she enjoys being active and exploring the outdoors with her husband and their two daughters. 

Kelsey Mueller Wendt

Kelsey Mueller Wendt was born and raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Population Health Management from Oregon Tech and a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. 

Kelsey is committed to improving the health, vitality, and livability of her hometown. Since 2018, she has worked at Sky Lakes Medical Center and has had the opportunity to grow with it. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Healthy Klamath Network, advisory board member for Klamath Trails Alliance, and helps lead work for the OHSU Moore Institute Nutrition Oregon Campaign. Through her leadership and collaboration, she continues to advance community health initiatives and expand access to active transportation throughout the region. 

In addition to her professional work, Kelsey serves as a Klamath Falls City Councilor representing Ward 5. She is passionate about making her community a beautiful, thriving place to live, work, and play. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, kayaking, biking, and gardening. She treasures time with her husband, their son Luca, and their two dogs.

Grace Sherill

Grace serves on the Klamath Community College Foundation Board and the Board of Directors for the Women's Scholarship Foundation of Klamath County, where she works to expand educational opportunities across the region. Giving back to the community that raised her is central to both her professional work and volunteer service. 

Outside of work, Grace enjoys spending time with her husband Brandon and their two dogs, Roxie and Rafe.  

Grace Sherrill joined the Sky Lakes Foundation in November 2023 as Development Coordinator, where she focuses on scholarships, planned giving, and a multitude of operational functions in the foundation.  

A lifelong resident of Klamath County, Grace holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Sociology/Anthropology from Eastern Oregon University. While she didn't originally plan for a career in philanthropy, her love for people and passion for community service have made it a natural and fulfilling path.
